Video: God of War III
Well back in December Fruit Brute broke us the news of Sony's official announcement that they were working on God of War 3. Well Sony is back at it again this week, showcasing the game off to the press and releasing an even more impressive gameplay trailer that's shown above. They even went on to play the game in front of the press to show that all of the trailer's video was rendered by the in-game engine. They also showed off some new elements of the game including Titan gameplay, ride-able enemy characters, a new weapon system, and large-scale battle
As far as the Titans go, it seems that Kratos will be riding on bodies of these giants trying to overcome them, a la Shadow of the Colossus. I have to admit that the ride-able characters and weapon system do have me intrigued. Hopefully we'll be getting a better timeframe for the release of this sequel soon, but until then you'll just have to watch the pretty trailer.
