BlazBlue Making The Jump To Consoles, I Miss Bridget

I've been keeping a close eye on BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger for a while now, and I'm glad that I can finally say that the game has been confirmed to be making the jump from arcades to both 360 and PS3 this summer. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is the latest fighter from Guilty Gear developer Arc System Works, and with a pedigree like Guilty Gear you know that it's going to be great. Unfortunately this announcement only applies to Japan so far, but considering that Guilty Gear made it to the states in its various forms I think it's a pretty safe bet that BlazBlue will be making it eventually as well.
The console port of BlazBlue will have some nice additions over the arcade edition. Namely, a single-player story mode involving all 12 characters and featuring branching story options that you must pick adventure-game style. What's more, the story mode is estimated to last for more than 30 hours of gameplay. 30 hours for a fighting game's story mode? If they can pull it off, I'm definitely up for it.
And of course, as is a signature of Arc System Works' games, BlazBlue is absolutely stunning visually. Although if I have one complaint about the game, it's that the character designs that they have revealed so far are a little...mundane compared to the more eccentric Guilty Gear fighters. Where's the next Bridget? Everyone is gay for Bridget.

If my memory serves me correct, someone from Arc was on X-Play yesterday and said something about this summer. My attention was half there, but this is what I remember.
I feel the same way, NaviFairy. Nothing was sweeter than beating the daylights out of your opponent using a cross-dressing nun-boy wielding yo-yos and a teddy bear.
Plus he was just so cute! Vive le Bridget!
