Deal?: Amazon.com Buy 2 Select DS Games Get 1 Free
Amazon.com has what appears on the surface to be a pretty good deal: buy 2 DS games from a pretty long list, and get one free. Unfortunately that list is filled with games like Petz Dogz Fashion and Imagine: Ice Champions, and light on stuff like Retro Game Challenge and Korg DS-10. Besides that, do I really want to grow my pile of half played or barely started DS games by three games at once? Since the DSi was announced I pretty much haven't wanted to touch my DS Phat, which has only increased my portable backlog. It's totally psychological - there's not really that much difference between the original handheld and the one coming in April, but whenever I pick it up, I might as well be trying to game on a Speak and Spell.
Still, if you need some presents for a budding fashion designer or single mother, this list could help you out. Plus there are a few grains of wheat in with all that chaff, so if you find three titles that you actually want for yourself, good for you.
