Trade In Your Games And Do Something Good

Do you have some games lying around that house that you'll know you'll never get back to and don't want to be insulted by GameStop's trade-in prices? Now thanks to the very caring folks over at DonateGames.org, you can use these games for something better than a 25 cent credit towards a $60 game and do a world of good for some people in need. Through their new website, this new charity is setting out to help those suffering from orphan diseases (which are life threatening and often fatal) in a very unusual way. By donating your used games to DonateGames.org, you'll get a tax-deductible receipt and give the charity titles to sell to other gamers, the proceeds of which go to help out those in need. While rounding up money for something like Child's Play (a partner of DG.org) might be hard for some people, dropping a few old games in the mail is something that all of us are capable of. While the "Buy A Game" portion of the website isn't up and running yet, DonateGames is currently looking for all the volunteers and donations (paypall is cool too) they can find.
Personally speaking, I know my little disco-flavored corner of the castle could stand a nice round of early spring cleaning and I can't think of a better reason to kick start the effort. Next time you've got some games you don't need anymore, think of lending a game or two to DonateGames. They sure could use your games a lot more than GameStop.

Don't know what you guys have against gamespot, 15 dollars for an older game is very good.
