Double Your COD:WaW XP This Weekend!
To celebrate the release of their latest Map Pack on consoles, the kind people behind Call of Duty World at War are awarding players with double experience points starting today and running all weekend long. Hopefully this gives players like me the ability to play perk catch-up so that I have a slightly better chance at winning a round or two. The xbox.com page for the event promises prizes in the Play & Win Sweepstakes and future plans for playing with the CoD:WaW development team from Treyarch.
The latest Map Pack includes four new multiplayer levels in total and takes players through the city of Berlin, a dilapidated train station, a tropical village, and... wait for it... a zombie-filled mental hospital. I may sound like something better suited for Left 4 Dead, but I'm happy that the powers that be recognize that the Nazi-Zombies mode needs much more love because of the time players are spending with it. So what are you waiting for? Hop online now! Those points aren't going to earn themselves!
Little side note: It appears that this is only valid for console players. PC gamers are out of luck, I guess.
