Video: Muramasa - The Demon Blade
It looks like Vanillaware, the company that brought us Odin Sphere, is wrapping up their work on their upcoming Action RPG Wii game, Muramasa: The Demon Blade. The game, looking as rich and vibrant as previous titles from the developer, is due to launch in Japan in a little more than a week (April 9th). With the eminent release on their hands, Vanillaware has put the above trailer out to show off some of the characters in their shogun Japan centered game. I have to admit that these guys really know how to use 2D graphics with with particle effects to their fullest potential.
The game will hopefully be making its way to the States and to Europe near the end of this year. Coming out on the Wii, the game is rumored to have two sets of controls to allow both veteran and new players to decide whether to use the Wiimote or classic controller for their entertainment pleasure. So keep your fingers crossed, and your eyes wide open, because it's only a matter of time until the Demon Blades come for you.

I can' wait for this game, it looks so gorgeous, visually and gameplay wise.
Sadly [for me], they confirmed a few months back that Europe wouldn't be seeing it until sometime in 2010... :-(
I want that game... badly! It´s beautifull as Okami and it´s feudal Japan... what´s not to like?I heard about the 2010 release date but maybe we´ll see that sooner...
