Video: Velvet Assassin
One of the games that I saw at PAX this last year that really stood out to me was SouthPeak Games' stealth-action game Velvet Assassin, from which our own Game-Boy gave us some lovely impressions to ruminate on. Also a few weeks ago, it was announced that Peter Chung of Aeon Flux fame had been contracted on by SouthPeak to do a digital comic based on the Velvet Assassin world. Well now this last week, Southpeak released this latest trailer of the game with the main character giving a speech similar to Sir Winston Churchill's "We fight on the beaches", stone-faced and in a bloody nightgown. Overall this game has all the trappings of a well advertised game. Now let's see if it delivers.
Watch the trailer to see some stunning cinematic scenes, and plenty of knife-stabby action from 'la femme fatale' into some Nazi German army men. The Velvet Assassin game is due out around April 14th of next month on both the Xbox 360 and on the PC.
