Amazon Selling Xbox LIVE Arcade Games

Apparently Amazon wants a piece of the lucrative Xbox LIVE Arcade market, and is horning in on Microsoft's turf. Starting today, Amazon.com has opened up their Xbox LIVE Store, which will allow you to purchase Arcade titles directly from the online retailer. On the plus side, the prices are in actual dollars, but on the other hand, a purchase instantly gives you one of those massive code strings of numbers and letters that you will then have to enter into your Xbox 360 console in order to download the game. So it's not exactly as convenient as simply buying the games through the 360, but it does have the additional perk of letting you gift the code you've purchased. So much like Nintendo's gifting feature in the Wii Shop Channel, you can now gift XBLA games to your friends and family. So that's actually kind of cool. Unfortunately, I would doubt that Amazon is allowed to offer any kind of discounts on the games, but that would make the deal all the sweeter!

Not only the children even adults are also interested in playing games. Best of luck for the sale of games.Kalamazoo
