Come Home To Godfather II And New Resident Evil 5

godfather2home.jpg

Sony continues to expand their PlayStation Home with new content, this time from EA and Capcom. Starting today, April 9, EA is launching their first game space to support the newly-released Godfather II game. You can gather together with your fellow mobsters there and enjoy a round or two of Texas Hold 'Em. And starting at 8:00 pm EST tonight (and running until whenever, apparently), Sony will be holding their first Celebrity Poker tournament in-world. And by "celebrity," they mean decorate your avatar to resemble a celebrity. No celebrities will be harmed during the making of this poker tournament.

In addition to that, Capcom is sprucing up their Resident Evil 5 game space with a new mini-game quest and a souvenir shop featuring new costumes will be available in the space. And better yet, you Sony RE5 fans can join PlayStation Home Community Management team members CydoniaX, BuggieTechnica and Locust_Star along with some Capcom staff to play some RE5 co-op on Thursday, April 16 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST. All you have to do is show up at the RE5 game space, and load the game into your PS3. If they see you with the game launching icon over your head, they'll jump in to play a chapter (or 20 minutes, whichever comes first). You'll know it's them because they'll be dressed in the new Chris or Sheva costumes!
