EA: Wii Motion Plus Is Almost Too Good

Thomas Singleton, producer of EA's upcoming Grand Slam Tennis for the Wii, says that Wii Motion Plus corrects nearly all of the motion control problems that the current Wii Remotes have, and then some:
It truly is giving you that one-to-one control movement of your arm motion and then mapping it directly to that one-to-one movement of your character on screen. ... At times it's overly responsive. It had so much fidelity that at times we have limited that fidelity to make it a compelling experience and giving you full total control.
We just can't handle all of the fidelity! Our elbows and wrists would spontaneously shatter if we felt the full power of Wii Motion Plus. It's good to know that developers have a little wiggle room and can tweak the controls to get them into a sweet spot.
There's still no official release date for Wii Motion Plus (and Nintendo's Wii Sports Resort), but EA isn't waiting. Their first two titles to take advantage of the device - Singleton's Tennis and a Tiger Woods Golf title - will both be out in June.

Sounds great! First wiimote add-on that I'm actually looking forward to.
Love the idea, just kinda makes me mad that they need an add-on, that you have to pay extra for that ..."corrects nearly all of the motion control problems that the current Wii Remotes have"...
Could they just release a new remote, sensor bar or software upgrade, or somethin (I'm just ramblin, I really don't know if that stuff can be fixed by upgrades to software or hardware, but wouldn't that be a better idea?)
