Legends Of Zork Goes Live
Three decades after gamers first ventured into the subterranean world of Zork, get ready to return to the ruins of the Great Underground Empire. Today Jolt Online launched its browser-based Zork redux, Legends of Zork.
Jolt's attitude was to create a game that didn't piss off the legions of Zork fans (who, like myself, are also 30 years older and perhaps more of a threat than we were back in 1979) while still making a game that the "kids today" will enjoy. Not content to make a game that anyone can enjoy, they've made a game that anyone can enjoy anywhere: on a web browser at home, at school, at work, and on your smartphone wherever you might be.
