More Jumpgate Ship Designs And Details Released
New designs, screenshots, and details have been released for the currently in development MMO Jumpgate: Evolution. It's been revealed that while pilots will start out in a simple training ship, they can eventually upgrade to fighters, advanced fighters, gunboats, cargo runners, and freighters to name a few. Each with their own specialization and use.
Combat focused players will be able to learn how to use light fighters like patrol and escort ships. Small ships designed to be fast and maneuverable. Advanced fighters like scouts on the other hand will be faster, but lose some firepower. The larger gunboats on the other hand will focus on heavy armament.
Along with an array of more versatile freight and light cargo ships for shipping and mining, it's looking like Jumpgate is going to have quite the selection of spacecraft. Check out some screen shots and concept art in the gallery below. For spaceships, they're awfully sexy looking.
