Red Steel 2: Redder And Steelier

Red Steel was one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Wii, so it therefore sold a lot of copies, even though it received decidedly mixed reviews. However, launch titles can be flawed, given that the hardware is still so new to the developer. Which is why Ubisoft's announcement of Red Steel 2 could be good news.
"Red Steel was a unique opportunity for Ubisoft to work in tandem with Nintendo to create a title exclusively for the launch of the Wii console," said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing US at Ubisoft. "Red Steel 2 is another milestone for the company as it is the first Ubisoft title with full Wii MotionPlus integration."
That's right, Wii MotionPlus, for that extra bit of accuracy when aiming your gun or slashing your sword. And seeing as how the biggest complaint with the original Red Steel was the loosey-goosey controls, Ubisoft might have the perfect opportunity to right some wrongs here. Guess we'll find out at the end of this year, when Red Steel 2 is released in time for the holidays!
