Street Fighter IV Championship Mode Is Coming!

Okay, personally, I tried playing Street Fighter IV and had my ass handed to me so bad that it scared me away permanently. But for those of you out there who are deadly serious and eager to prove your Street Fighter superiority, Capcom is releasing a free update to the game with an all-new Championship Mode!
You'll get the chance to duke it out in five different grades of tournaments, creating challenges geared towards players of all skill levels (even mine?). As you kick ass, you'll get Grade Points, and the more GP you accrue, the more higher-level tournaments you'll be able to enter. Winning tournaments will also net you Championship Points, which are like prize money. No idea what you can use it for, but I guess you'll at least get bragging rights! What's also awesome is that anyone who disconnects because they're losing will also lose out on advancing any further in the tournaments. And not only do they dock your progress in the tournaments, they also post your disconnect percentage for all to see (awesome!)!
There's also a Replay Mode that allows you to watch the best Championship Mode matches. On the PS3, you'll be able to watch the replay and vote according to characteristics like "beautiful" or "funny," so you can browse by category. On the Xbox 360, you can't vote on the matches, but you can watch and save your favorites. And while watching the saved matches, you'll be able to turn on the input commands from both players to be able to review their button presses in exacting detail. Wow! That's hardcore!
If you're up for it (and even if you're not it's a free update), Championship Mode goes live for the PS3 and 360 on Friday, April 24. Now come out of your corners, and I want to see a clean fight!

This type of stuff makes me happy I own both versions of the game!
Eh, I played the game for like a week when it came out before I went back to 3rd Strike. Sounds cool, but SFVI really just wasn't all that great.
