Video: Terminator: Salvation
What happens with you mix together Wanted: Weapons of Fate developer GRIN with Christian Bale, a never ending army of maniacal killbots, and an invisible Slip 'N Slide? You get the game version of Terminator: Salvation, silly!
I remember a time when movie tie-ins were guaranteed to be terrible games, but between this, the aforementioned Wanted, and the beastly X-Men Origins: Wolverine title coming this summer it looks like there are more bright spots on the licensed title horizon than ever before. While I'm not expecting this to be the greatest game ever created, the trailer makes it look like a ton of fun. The split-screen multiplayer alone makes this one title to keep an eye on for those nights at home with the boyfriend, and the arcadey vibe coming from the variety of weapons and cover system is reminding me of the underappreciated gem The Club. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the game doesn't look that bad either.
Terminator: Salvation hits the 360, PS3, and PC on May 19th.

This is the only (PS3) game I know of that has 1 platinum trophy and 11 gold trophies (9 story-related, 2 difficulty-related). I imagine that, in itself, will make the game pretty popular with the PS3 trophy-whore crowd.
