Vote On Your Favorite Fan-Made Ratchet And Clank Weapon
Remember way back to last month, when I mentioned that you should get out your crayons and pencils for Sony's Ratchet and Clank Future weapon contest? Well the top 5 submissions have been picked by Insomniac and are now up for public scrutiny. I'm not going to share my favorite, but at least a couple seem like they'd be worthy additions to the game's arsenal. Hopefully your pick will win, but make sure to vote at the link below, or you'll have no right to complain when your least favorite shows up in Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time next fall.
The winner will be revealed at the San Diego International Comic Con, July 24-27, 2009, but voting ends April 24th. Unlike the contest, voting appears to be open to everyone in the world - that's poor consolation for you international weapon-smiths, heads practically bursting with plans for hundreds of comical yet destructive machines, but at least it's something.

I love the Plasma Sprinkler Glove idea, it's a great looking weapon and I think it would fit it really well with the other weapons in the game. I also like the little story at the beginning "Originally designed to take care of consumer's weed problems, the Plasma Sprinkler was banned after an unfortunate incident involving a particularly stubborn patch of weeds and a few dozen surrounding buildings."
