Dragon Quest Wars Coming to DSIWare
I like downloadable titles. I'm kinda lazy and I don't like carrying around a lot of little cartridges. Nintendo has been jumping on the DLC train a lot lately, and now that the DSi has gone global, we're pretty much guaranteed to see more titles. The latest installment is Dragon Quest Wars.
The hit series is launching a new title for the handheld system that will bring a strategy board game to the handheld that is "easy to learn, difficult to master". The game features WiFi play, so users should be able to play against opponents from anywhere across the world (so long as that place is Japan).
The game itself is being designed by Intelligent Systems, of Fire Emblem fame. There has been no announced US release date, but considering Squeenix' current track record it's a pretty same bet that we will see a launch across global shores.
