Fan Art: Mega Man Powered Up 2

Fan art comes and goes, but it's rare that something comes along that makes my dreams come true. While I don't exactly find many excuses to play my PSP, the one title that I've probably put the most amount of time into is Capcom's incredible Mega Man Powered Up. For those unfamiliar with the game, this PSP title is a super cute remake of the NES original with a few extra add-ons that included a fantastic level creator. One of the biggest draws for me was the game's distinctive "Chibi" style that stays true to the cartoony nature of the artwork found in the original 8-bit title. But ever since the game was announced I've yearned for day that Capcom would announce a Powered Up 2.

Imagine it... the best Mega Man game ever created (sorry, but this is scientific fact) revitalized with Powered Up's hyper-anime style. It would be so awesome! I would buy it in a heart beat...

Well, imagine no more! Capcom may be taking its sweet time even considering the project, but our very own Ageman20XX has made my Mega-wishes a reality and created his own vision of what the robot masters of the series second installment might look like in Powered Up form. I cannot convey the unspeakable happiness that these images bring me. Some of these are just so spot on that I could have been easily fooled into thinking they were official artwork. Be sure to check out some of Ageman20XX's other work on his website.

*sigh* ...now only if Capcom would see these and realize what they're missing.
