Is Heather Mills The Bionic Bitch?

According to The Sun, Heather Mills, lately Heather Mills-McCartney, demanded a six-figure payment and a starring role to promote Bionic Commando.
This comes directly from the British tabloid press, so veracity is 100% not guaranteed. Then again, it's a story about Heather Mills demanding ridiculous sums of money with no particular merit, so it's at least plausible.
Also according to The Sun, Capcom kicked her to the curb:
Capcom's Bionic Commando is based around someone with a prosthetic arm, so the firm approached SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's ex because of her charity work with amputees. But she demanded at least ten times their offer.
A source tells me: "She was insistent she wouldn't do it for a smaller fee and said the producers should make her the star.
"The request was way, way over budget and they certainly weren't keen on basing the game on her."
Again, tabloid press is even less reliable than Blogistani press, but even if this tale is a total fabrication, could they have picked a more plausible public figure? Methinks not. Although a parallel-reality version of Bionic Commando "starring" Heather Mills would be quite a sight to see.

right... because US newsreporting is always 100% accurate and NEVER sensationalised!?!? *cough* fox news *cough*
to be honest I find this post offensive. Heather Mills offending me aside... do you really believe UK press to be inferior than the almighty american press?!? And then comparing it to blogistani.
I'm not the type to be overly proud of my nation but will not be made to be inferior by pig headed Americans that believe that the US is the centre of the fucking universe.
"Again, tabloid press is even less reliable than Blogistani press"
I'm questioning the validity of tabloid press, not singling out one country. The Sun *is* a British tabloid, so I described it thus. I say nothing about British vs US tabloids, because that's not the topic. In fact, I don't mention the US press at all.
I CERTAINLY didn't say that I believe the UK press to be inferior to the US press, only that tabloid reporting is particularly unreliable - which it is.
@SuperSaiyanSamueru
Also, truth be told, The Sun has been widely criticized in the past for twisting, falsifying, and outright making up stories, hence Tiny's reticence to give this story as much credence as it would have if it came from, say... The Daily Telegraph or the Times, but it came from the Weekly World News of England. Salt should be liberally applied when taking this news.
@SuperSaiyanSamueru:
Sometimes it helps to read the entire post before you pitch the hissy fits.
Nobody said anything about the UK press being inferior - that was all you, buddy.
Nobody said anything about the US being the center of the "f*cking universe" - that was all you, too.
Lastly: who's being insulted here? SSS is the only one tossing around insults... "pig headed Americans?" If you're going to force your own insults into an article you didn't bother to read, at least have the decency to ACT with the kind of respectability you seem to demand. Ugly.
"This comes directly from the British tabloid press, so veracity is 100% not guaranteed."
This leads me to believe that all BRITISH press is inaccurate. You cannot deny that its wording attacks the British tabloid press as a whole. Surely this sounds like a comparison to another nation such as your own otherwise you wouldn't have singled it out as the British tabloid press in that statement.
Should you have worded it as "This come from the tabloid press" then I wouldn't see it as an attack on JUST British tabloids.
"Again, tabloid press is even less reliable than Blogistani press"
I put my hands up and admit that I had assumed that you were referring to the British tabloids. But, you have to admit that you did only refer to British press in previous comments so therefore it is fair for me to make such an assumption.
Let me reword the intro piece:
"According to the British tabloid press, Heather Mills, lately Heather Mills-McCartney, demanded a six-figure payment and a starring role to promote Bionic Commando.
This comes directly from The Sun newspaper, so veracity is 100% not guaranteed."
Yeah, you're right EshuElehbara, The Sun has been under fire... lol in fact I'm sure ALL british Tabloids have been found to be falsifying news stories at some point or another. But 99% of the time they don't. Sure, its a lot of sensationalism and they sure do like their bandwagons but the news given cannot always be comparable to Americas tabloids as they are very different.
Tiny Dancer, if you truely didn't mean to attack the UKs press as a whole then I will take back the implication that you are pig headed. But, if you looked down your nose for just one second, thought of the UK news to be inferior in comparison to your own then I just hope you don't catch a case of swine flu.
SSS:
I dunno what to tell ya. "British tabloid press" is accurate and descriptive and I wouldn't censor the adjective "British" any more than I would "German" or "American."
This post is about an alleged stunt pulled by a British celebrity, as reported in a British tabloid. That's why the word "British" cropped up. I'm not sure that I can make that any clearer, but if it helps: yes, I truly didn't mean to attack the British press in any way. (That's why I didn't.)
I'm a big boy who knows he's writing on the internet, where you can never please everyone - you don't need to apologize to me. Or my head. Yikes.
:-)
Tiny youre sweet to humor him but really - it's obvious to anyone NOT crazy that you were just trying to reiterate that this was a tabloid rumor so that your readers would know you weren't being irresponsible and posting rumor as fact. THANK YOU FOR THAT - it sucks that you got tore up for it. integrity's a bitch. I know who has a pig head and baby it aint you..sss get that chip off your shoulder, it's makin u think funny. oink.
woah, bitch is crazy.
...and i wasn't referring to Heather Mills...
You gotta admit my post did get a response, and that's what I wanted. Should I have politely said that the way it was worded is kinda offensive then it would've gone unnoticed.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
You need to try to read it the way I do, and no matter how many times I read the first two sentances I can see it both ways. But it still leans towards an attack on all British press. But I will accept that it was not Tiny Dancers intentions to be offensive.
You must understand that the internet is sooo Americentric. When installing my keyboard it asked by default if it was American English! lol, English comes from England... its in the name!!! Same for many websites, US is default and I have to scroll through countless countries for the United Kingdom. Ever so annoying.
There are a lot of UK, and Im sure a lot of european gay guys that read these news posts and use the forums but they're not being represented. Maybe you should look into having a European based correspondant for relevant news, release dates etc. to help bridge the gap.
So...the internet is americentric and therefore we're supposed to understand that you're being an offensive douchebag for a higher purpose?
AND you want this site to hire a european writer to appease you, so you'll call them nasty names less often?
Of all the ways to go about promoting diversity on the internet, that is absolutely the STUPIDEST reasoning ever.
Was "I'm sorry" too hard to type, or do you really buy your own bullsh*t?
God, I wish she would get dry rot.
Then fall into a volcano. Populated by heat resistant piranhas.
Nothing to do with the article, I just hate this Monolegged dancing mongstick.
