Ju-On: The Grudge Coming To The States!

If you said "yes" to any of the above, especially that last one, then you'll probably be interested in Xseed's latest announcement that signals the impending North American release of Ju-On: The Grudge for the Nintendo Wii this October.
I know what you're saying, "What makes this different from any other crappy game based on a successful movie?" Well for starters, the original movie's director, Takashi Shimizu, has been toiling away as a creative consultant for the game. As Asterick relayed to us previously, players move through a variety of very freaky looking environments through a first person perspective with their Wii remote acting as their flashlight, but the latest press release shines a little light on what sounds like the scariest two player mode ever...
As much fun as it is to get scared, sometimes it's even more fun to watch others play to observe their reactions. For instant gratification, grab a second Wii Remote and push buttons to make in-game events happen immediately to make the player jump and hate you forever.This cruel/hilarious mode sounds like it could be the scariest addition interactive horror has seen in a long time. Players will be able to witness the terror themselves when the game suddenly appears out of the blue later this year in October.

Ju-on has to be one of the least frightening horror movies I have ever seen, and I let out a huge groan when I first heard it was being made into a game.
That 2-player mode though, it just sounds too evil and wonderful to pass up.
this makes me happy, especially after hearing fatal frame got canned.
I'm sold~
