Kyoufu Taikan: Ju-on... Creepy
If you saw the AQ Kyoufu Taikan: Ju-on announcement, raise your hand? No? No one? Yea, I didn't either. After the birth of this notably creepy title, AQ has decided to make a Wii game to honor it's 10 year anniversary. It also appears that they are on the ball and doing it right.
Screenshots of the title have finally surfaced, and now we can actually get a feel for how the game will play. First, you have a flash light, which has a limited amount of battery. Once they die, you are left in the dark. Also, there is no nunchuck, phsaw. The controls are as follows:
- B moved your character forward
- Down on the D-Pad moves your character backward
- A is context sensitive "action". See: Point and click
While this could easily be a very good game play mechanic, I can also see it going very, very wrong. We'll just have to hope that AQ does it right. There is no confirmed US release date.

For a second there I thought this was Kuon and got a little excited. Then I remembered that survival horror is dead...
Oh man... I didn't look at the screen caps before I commented. This game looks like it belongs on the PS1! Wtf? I know the Wii isn't very powerful, but this is just sad.
