"May" We Have More Lips Songs?

Well, Microsoft has released a list of all the Lips DLC coming in the month of May, and as usual, it's a very mixed bag. At least they're giving the indie rock a rest here and there for some fun retro pop and R&B. Why there isn't more disco, I have no idea. You'd think stuff like "YMCA" and "I Will Survive" would be a natural choice for a karaoke game. Ah, whatever.... The following songs will be available for 160 Microsoft Points apiece on the dates below:
May 1
"Dance Floor Anthem (I Don't Want To Be In Love)" by Good Charlotte
"Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" by Travis
"Hard To Handle" by The Black Crowes
"Hard To Handle" might actually be fun to sing if the song hadn't gotten annoying back when it first came out.
May 8
"You Get What You Give" by The New Radicals
"Turning Japanese" by The Vapors
"Clocks" by Coldplay
Yes! More '80s music! And "Turning Japanese" is a great choice! This one, I'm so getting!
May 15
"Mr. Telephone Man" by New Edition
"Cool It Now" by New Edition
"If It Isn't Love" by New Edition
Now this is what I'm talking about! "Cool It Now" will be awesome, and "Mr. Telephone Man" is also pretty good. The three songs will also be available in a song pack for 440 MP, but since I don't like the third, I won't be springing for it.
May 22
"Lollipop" by MIka
"Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus
"100 Years" by Five For Fighting
I like "Lollipop," but don't know if I really want to sing it over and over again... We'll see...
May 29
"I Miss You" by Blink-182
"Life Is A Rollercoaster" by Ronan Keating
"Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol
It's not his best song, but I will definitely be buying Ronan Keating's track simply to support the Brits and hopefully see more of their music showing up on these shores. Of course, buying "Santa Baby" didn't get more Kylie released for Lips, but hope springs eternal, right?

You're buying Ronan Keating to support the Brits? I forgot he existed..
is Irish FFS. We are NOT Brits!!
Okay, technically, yes, Ronan and Boyzone (oh God, what I wouldn't do to have some Boyzone or McFly in Lips) are Irish. I probably shouldn't have called them Brits. I guess I should've just said European instead. You know, the good pop music. Sorry, no offense intended! :-)
