Video: Safar'Wii
Who knows if we'll ever see Afrika on the PS3 in America, one of the few exclusive games for the console that I was actually intrigued by? Well, it looks like the Wii is getting into the African safari adventure business with this summer's release of Safar'Wii. Yeah, I know. It's a terrible title. But what are you gonna do? And no, the graphics are clearly not as good as the PS3, but at least the animals look realistic instead of cute. They spent all the cute on the safari kids, it looks like. Although I suppose it is pretty cute that when you take a good photo of the animals with your Wiimote, little hearts shoot out of the tops of their heads. And that panda is all kinds of adorable. Even so, I have to admit I'm still kind of interested in this game, just because it looks like Endless Ocean on land, complete with the animal petting and educational value. What can I say? I'm a sucker for exploration games. And I like learning things. So sue me!
Cool... I hope it turns out more like a pretty and fun Pokemon Snap and less like Endless Ocean, which sounded really cool but ended up being a lame and ugly unrealistic coral-reef-animal-petting game (yes, you actually had to pet the fish.)
YES, can we please just have a nice long pokemon snap game? That game was a blast... there is 392 MORE pokemon too.. so, c'mon already!!.. there is a audiece for it!
