Amazon Gold Box Showers Us With PS3
Well it looks like Amazon is feeling gamer frisky once again, and this time it has a crush on the PS3. All of today (Monday 6/22), the Gold Box deals on the popular online retail shop will be PS3 related each going up at different hour during the day. The Deal of the Day itself is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which they have for over 40% off their normal price for a sale price of $28.98, which is a pretty good deal if you haven't already picked it up for the PS3. The hints for the rest of the games coming up are below, and Cheap Ass Gamer has done their best to figure out all the clues as to which games the hints refer to (All times are PDT):
6am - Slice and dice, bub (X-Men Origins Wolverine)
10am - If only Jack Ryan had his wings. (HAWX)
12pm - Nothing Else Matters (GH: Metallica)
3pm - Prepare for the future. (Fallout 3)
6pm - Step into the ring with the 8th Wonder of the World (Legends of Wrestlemania)
So if any of those games perk you interest, stop by the Gold Box site at the appropiate to see what the sale price is for the game. Currently the Gold Box deals don't seem to be an enormous steal, but it's usually comparable to what the sale price is at the store down the street. As for myself, I may pickup Fallout 3 since I've been procrastinating the purchase but everyone keeps telling me how great the game is. Enjoy your Gold Box showers everyone.
