Bungie May Use Project Natal For Halo: Reach

Normally, I can't say that The Seattle Times is my go-to news source for video game related stories. Though with such meaningful insight as saying that Halo "is the Harry Potter of video games" it's hard to imagine why not. Oh well, at least they do manage to mix some real nuggets of information in. In this case, that nugget comes in the form of Bungie President Harold Ryan, who said in response to Project Natal being used in the newly announced game Halo: Reach "I absolutely think 'Reach' could be enabled with it."
Ok, so it isn't an actual confirmation or anything, but it definitely makes you think. If Microsoft wants Project Natal to take-off, they need to attach it to a game that is sure to sell, and sure to sell people on the concept of Natal. Halo: Reach certainly fits the bill. I'm not sure that Natal would be a mandatory part of the game, after all the multiplayer beta will be out before Project Natal, but I could definitely see Natal motion tracking used for controls like steering vehicles or tilting your head out from behind cover. Most of what was shown at E3 of Project Natal was controller-free, but I don't see any reason why motion tracking couldn't also be implemented into a game that already uses a standard controller.
Or maybe I'm not thinking big enough, and Halo: Reach will turn into the harrowing quest of a few renegade Spartans who just want to check up on Milo and make sure he's getting his homework done.
Only time will tell, but I think Microsoft and Bungie would be crazy not to do it, so there's a very good chance that we'll be seeing motion tracking in Halo: Reach when it eventually comes out...fall 2010.

And thus this game is doomed to bomb already. Brilliant move! ^-^
I think that an FPS geared towards somethink like natal, would be the worst idea ever. If anyone has ever played an FPS on the wii, they will know what i am talking about.
