New Forms For WOW Druids Coming
I'm a bit of a World of Warcraft fiend at times, and my favorite class in the game has always been Druids (insert joke about gay men and bears). So imagine my joy over the last week or so as Blizzard has been releasing screenshots of the new form models druids will get in upcoming patch 3.2. While other classes always change how they look in each expansion with new armor and weapons, Druids in their animal forms have looked the same since the game launched. Many players have complained about the issue.
No longer! Sexy new models are coming with the next big patch (no announced date) and as a bonus, animations have apparently been improved somewhat, so no more permanent roaring. Bear and Cat form mouths will only open when the animation calls for it, and will be closed the rest of the time in a toothy grin.
Druids will be able to choose which forms they want by changing their hair color or skin color (a new feature for Taurens) at the in-game barbers. Apparently there will be some overlap so various combinations of cat and bear will be possible. Blizzard has stated they will be working on other druid forms, but that cat and bear were the immediate priority. See all the new options in the gallery below. Rawr!

I think it's misleading how Blizzard promote this. ALL they have done is change the COLOUR ONLY. It would have taken them 10 mins to change their colour a few times and claim it's new. A little lazy i think - some new models would have been nice, not just skins.
It looks like the cat models have been fairly significantly changed, even if the variants are just skins on the new models.
These ARE new models.
It's more distinct for the Tauren cat model, but they are all new models.
Maybe it is the furry inside of me, but I really love what they are doing with the Druid forms.
I just need one from both factions now.
