Video: Meet Nolan North, The Man Behind Nathan Drake
Voice acting is often one of the most overlooked parts of video games. When it's bad (the first Resident Evil) it sticks out like a sore thumb, but when it's good it can be easy to ignore. Unless you're a David Hayter or Charles Martinet, voice actors get very little love from the press, but it's their hard work that brings the characters to life and makes the game more immersive. So, it was nice to see this video up on the PlayStation Blog featuring an interview with Nolan North, the voice of Uncharted's hunky Nathan Drake. He talks about what it's like voicing a game character and there are some clips of him working on the mo-cap portions of the game as well.
At the end of the interview, the charmingly handsome North is joined by his Uncharted 2 co-stars for a little chat about who should play Nathan Drake in an Uncharted movie. My vote goes to North himself and if not him then David Boreanaz is my next choice. Who would be your dream Drake?
