Borderlands Gets A Street Date

Well, one of the games I enjoyed seeing at E3, Borderlands, finally has some good news for its fans, it's got a street date. No, not the kind of date you'd pickup in the backwater streets of Pandora, but a solid date for the game's release. 2K Games announced today that the Gearbox game will be releasing for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 20th.
That means that before Halloween you can exploring the wonderful planet of Pandora either by yourself, or with up to four other friend cooperatively. In the press release, they made sure to boast about the 15 million weapons available in the game (since it uses a random loot generator similar to the one in Diablo games) and the fact that the game is a role-playing shooter. At least it's good to know when the game will finally get here, so that we can put it to the test.
