Dragon Age: Origins Will Have Homo-sex (Yay!), Animal Sex (Boo?)
According to the ESRB ratings description for the upcoming BioWare RPG Dragon Age: Origins, players can look forward to at least some same-sex love during the game.
Players can also initiate brief cutscene sequences in which couples (male and female or same sex couples) can be depicted kissing, embracing, and caressing one another as the screen fades to black.
Hopefully this time that means both the men and women can go gay this time, instead of just pulling a Mass Effect. In another part of the game, your character can get a bit more adventurous:
During the course of the game, players are able to visit a brothel where a hostess asks what they are interested in. If players select "Surprise me," they can sometimes wind up face-to-face with a woman, a man, a transsexual, or an animal; sexual activity is never depicted during these brothel encounters.
Joy. I know the designers are just trying to keep the mood light, but considering that gay relationships are constantly being compared to sex with animals, maybe I'm just a little touchy about it. There is a Mabari War Dog that appears to be a member of the party, maybe I'll just assume that even fantasy pets need release now and then.

The entire scenario sounds more like its being played for laughs rather than a serious attempt at including beastiality.
But of course the media will take any quote out of context as an excuse to get up in arms about it, so lets not let common sense get in the way of a good controversy.
This is bioware. What game did they make that didn't have some freaky shit in it as a quest or something else. lol
Well it's good to know that Bioware isn't repeating the mess they made of relationships in Mass Effect.
I wonder whether they'll enable same-sex relationships in Mass Effect 2. I'd love to have a belated romance with Kaidan. Or even better, Garrus.

As a zany transsexual, this pretty much puts the kibosh on my already-wavering purchase.

Wrex was pretty cute, but Garrus can secure my Citadel any day.
I don't know, Wrex doesn't really do it for me (aside from a pic of him that furry artist Dragoneer did). Garrus and Kaidan on the other hand are quite sexy. Especially Garrus.
Something about Turians. Nihlus was pretty hot too.
Lol Garrus was always a "hmm maybe" for me I mean that mouth with the weird bits at the side could either be REALLY good or REALLY bad.
I had to think about the other races that could be in the maybe pile, the Elcor, Volus & Hanar wouldn't do it for me though :( Guess I would just have to reprogram a Geth.......
I just wonder if the fact that transexuals are programmed into the game means that you can make your character a transexual. I am a gay guy that usually plays female, but it bothers me that female PCs are usually slutted up.
I think Fallout 3 and Mass Effect are the only recent exceptions. Faith too.
