GayGamer Joins GLAAD For Homophobia Panel
This Saturday our own Fruit Brute joins reps from Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Linden Labs and the Entertainment Software Association at a groundbreaking panel held by GLAAD and hosted by EA. The fruitabulous panel will discuss, as you might imagine, homophobia in gaming, how to create safe spaces (such as GayGamer) for LGBT folks online, how to create and ensure the best policies to prevent and deter discrimination, and how to spread the word among the larger online populations about the negative effects of homophobia.
GLAAD will hold its panel just a ways south of San Francisco in Redwood City, CA, on Saturday July 18 from 11am to 1pm.
