Guitar Hero 5: First 25 Tracks Announced

Guitar Hero 5 is set to release on Sept. 1. Probably not coincidentally, this comes just one week before Rock Band's landmark Beatles edition. Guitar Hero has quite a lot to do to top that and they are rising to the occasion with the announcement of the first songs on their massive on-disc set list. David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Elliot Smith and Beck all populate the 25 song list that was released today. But, will all these heavy hitters be enough to topple the group that was "bigger than Jesus?" Judge for yourself by checking out the list below.

great. another hot song by qotsa ruined by guitar hero addicts. lol why don't they put it on rock band?!
I... Don't think I know one of these songs at all. o.o Though, my boycott of Activision prevents me from buying this anyways. n.n;
Knowing Harmonix, most of the good songs on GH5 will be DLC. No need to buy this. Bring on the Beatles!!
What the fuck? What are these pieces of shit? Is fucking GH, WHERE'S THE METAL??
FOR GOD'S SAKE!
Oh, I see. I searched this songs on youtube. All of them belong to Universal Music. So, are they the real developers of the game, not Harmonix? Sigh...
This game is doomed.
Harmonix hasn't made guitar hero since Guitar Hero 2...they work on Rock Band now.
Most of the recent Guitar Heroes, including the upcoming title, are developed by Neversoft.
Poor tracklist. Billy Squire is among the worst artists ever if you ask me, I detest his music. The only track that's even remotely tempting is "Fame".
Nope, looks like my purchase of Rock Band: The Beatles is still assured.
Okay, I take that back, I didn't notice "Running Down a Dream" there. So, 2 good songs on this list.
DEADBOLT FTW!!!
