Marvel vs Capcom 2 Dated For PS3 (Finally!)

jaredtattoo.jpg

Last week brought us news of Marvel vs Capcom 2's imminent release (July 29) on Xbox 360 which left a lot of PS3 players asking "When do we get ours?" Well, now your question has been answered with Capcom's latest announcement. Marvel vs Capcom 2 will release on August 13, nearly a month after the 360 version and will cost you $15.

I have to say I'm a little surprised by the pricing for this one considering no improvements were made to the graphics and sprites. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game and I absolutely love it, but it seems a bit steep in the cost department.

What's your take on this? Do you love Marvel vs Capcom 2? Do you love it enough to pay $15?

$15 and no improvements?

I think I'll stick to playing the DC version.

There's online multiplayer, which is a pretty nice improvement. Just not much in the way of graphical improvement (although there is a pixel smoothing option to make it looks just a little bit prettier).

Considering that physical copies of the game retail for at least a 100 bucks used, yes. Duh.

Also, I could never have sex with that guy because I could never take someone with a tattoo that large and that silly seriously in any way.

I dearly hope that tattoo is a Photoshop job and not a real tattoo.
As for MvC2, eh...online play doesn't really interest me for that game, and I have the arcade-perfect Dreamcast version and 2 Sega arcade sticks to play it with when me and my friends want to get our hyper-kinetic virtual smackdown on.
Now, 3rd Strike with online play, THAT I would get excited about.

Don't get me wrong, I heart video games, and sort of dig tatoos...but I don't know if I could take someone seriously that had the character select screen of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 tatooed on their body. Sounds way cooler in theroy than in practice.

I don't see why a tattoo of that is any worse than that of a rose. Especially considering how many hours I've spent staring at a rose compared to staring at MvC 2.

It's not so much the content as it is the fact that it doesn't compliment his body AT ALL. It' s a huge ugly grid on his belly. Also, that hair pegs him as 1000% straight.
