Rock Band Promo Nets Nintendo Points

pepsirb.jpg

So this summer, Rock Band has teamed up with Pepsi for a special promotion where you can enter codes found on specially marked bottles of Pepsi products in the hopes of getting prizes. One of the things you can win is Rock Band DLC, but Nintendolife has pointed out that while the code will net you a free song on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, on the Wii instead of a song you'll get 200 Nintendo Points added to your Wii Shop Channel. So you could still get your song, but you could also use it to buy something else. And you can even use them through the DSi Shop Channel where 200 points will go even farther! Now, there's no guarantee that a code will get you a prize, but with 5,000 free DLC songs given away every day, the odds aren't that terrible!
