Serious Sam Has A Twitter Contest. Seriously.
Serious Sam HD is heading to the PC and Xbox LIVE Arcade later this summer, but the developers need just a little bit of help bringing the title to completion. Specifically, they need a fan to come up with one of those pithy one-liners Sam's always spouting off as he shoots holes in things.
"I never get any thanks for the wonderfully poetic and emotionally layered lines I write for Sam 'Serious' Stone," said an overworked and underpaid writer at Croteam "So guess what? Let someone else take a crack at it and see how hard it is. These witty remarks don't write themselves you know."
The winner will have his or her line recorded by John J. Dick, the voice of Serious Sam, and included into Serious Sam HD as one of the wisecracks spouted off during gameplay. All you have to do is log into Twitter and send your brilliant quip to @devolverdigital between July 15 and July 30. Croteam will choose the winning line and Devolver Digital will announce it to all of their twitter followers in early August. Hey, your name could be in the credits of a videogame, so start getting creative!
