Tower Of Shadow Website Opens, Gamescom Trailer Released
We've had no shortage of unique side-scrolling puzzlers in the past few years. Games like Braid, Lost Winds, and (my personal favorite) NyxQuest have all kept their gameplay within the realms of 2D while incorporating some new gameplay mechanics and a touch of 3D here and there to spice things up. One title that I just became acquainted with, and had to share with you dear readers, is a little WiiWare project by Hudson called Tower of Shadow. To call this side-scroller unique is something of an understatement since you don't actually play as a character, but rather their shadow. With a visual look that combines a castle straight out of the Ico universe and machinery that might look more at home in Bioshock's Rapture, this certainly looks like one title to keep an eye on.
