Video: Bleep Bloop Interviews NES/Metal Guitar Musicians Anamanaguchi
I've been following the Chiptune scene ever since I was blessed with the power of the internets. To the unaware, chip tunes is music created using ICs from yesteryear to create harsh, lo-fi synth lines. One of my personal favorite bands in the scene would be Anamanaguchi. The band consists of 3 men on guitar, and a very much abused and mutilated front-loading NES.
Jeff Rubin posted an interview with the group on his show Bleep Bloop. The interview covers their artistic process, and most importantly, how they managed to coax those little sounds out of their gray little box.
Anamanaguchi will also be preforming this year at PAX, as well as a show at DNA Lounge in San Francisco on the 30th of this month. I personally will be attending both shows.

Thats my friend's chiptune band. He programs musical scales into a gameboy and uses it as an instrument.
