Video: The Brutal Legend Metal Soundtrack vs. A Rubik's Cube?

Remember that epic list of metal songs slated to be in the Brutal Legend soundtrack that Wootini brought us earlier this week? It's was a very big list of very talented artists and some of their best songs (side note: no Round and Round by RATT? What gives?), but is the list big enough to allow Double Fine's fearless leader Tim Schafer to solve a Rubik's Cube before Music Director Emily Ridgway can read the whole thing? Place your bets and click on the video above as a showdown of incredible metal/nerdy proportions commences!

For those counting, the list clocks in at a total of a hundred and seven songs! That's absolutely crazy, but not as crazy as the look on Mr. Schafer's face as he maniacally rips through the Cube with an intensity that's almost a little scary. As if this wasn't enough, by watching the video you'll get to find out which of the fantastic songs featured on the soundtrack is his supreme favorite.

At the end of the video, Mr. Schafer asks if there is anything more metal than a Rubik's Cube. I'm not exactly sure either way right now, but I hope to get a little bit closer to an answer on Rocktober 13th when Brutal Legend ships.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
