Bioshock 2 Gets Global Street Date
And no, we don't mean a worldly hooker! Gamers were disappointed when 2K games pushed back BioShock 2's original launch day of November 3rd to an unannounced date in 2010. But now word comes up from the depths of Rapture that the title will now launch globally across all markets on February 9, 2010.

That probably means February 12th for us in the UK then... I know it says global, but stores here usually still hold back because they like to release on Fridays. Its extremely rare that that pattern is broken.
Only 3 days though so no big deal =)
In retrospect, this is a good thing. I've never have a backlog of games, and if Bioshock 2 actually came out in November while I was still playing Brutal Legends and Borderlands (and others)... no, I don't want to think about it.
Absolutely I can wait for February.
