TGS 09 Video: Get Saxy With The Metal Gear Composer
I love that as Video Games Live moves all over the world they mix up their show just a little bit by adding a few local bands and composers along their way. For instance, when I saw the show around my neck of the woods, I was treated to Select Start's rendition of Chrono Trigger's Frog's Theme. But when the seemingly never-ending series of concerts that performs classic game themes came to Japan for the Tokyo Game Show, concert goers got a fantastic treat in the forum of Metal Gear composer, Norihiko Hibino as Sax!
You can call it cheesy, you can call it over the top, but you can't say that the soundtrack for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was anything short of incredible and hearing the 60's spy flavored main theme performed live by the maestro of Metal Gear himself is awesome! Thankfully the good folks at Game Videos were there to capture the moment to share it with everyone.
