Video: How To Be A Bancho
Who wants to be a bancho? After watching this insane video, I sure do! A bancho is the toughest guy in school, and in Atlus' wacked-out new PSP game Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, you go on a school trip that brings you face to face with all the other school's toughest competitors, forcing you to kick some ass. You'll have the entire city of Kyouto to explore, and it's full of people to beat up. The gameplay is open-ended and exploration is encouraged. And if you run into people, picking a fight is always fun. There are 47 banchos to take down, and once you beat one, they become your servant, meaning you can get them to fight at your side. And with this many people to beat down, you'll probably need the help!
Kenka Bancho features full character customization, so you're not stuck in a stuffy school uniform, and an intricate fighting system where you can learn new moves from the banchos you defeat. You can fight as dirty as you want. I love that you could even just constantly bitch slap everyone. Of course, this isn't GTA. You shouldn't go around beating up innocent bystanders, because then you're a bully, not a bancho. And property destruction is also frowned upon. Oh, and I'm also intrigued by the flash of smack-talking gameplay in the trailer. The whole thing just looks like a big ol' heaping pile of fun. And fun you can share with the two-player ad hoc co-op mode. Atlas is bringing Kenka Bancho to the PSP on November 10, but for a hilarious look at the game, check out its official website. If the game is half as funny as that site, it'll be a hoot!

BANCHO! It looks like BANCHO!
I MUST GET THIS GAME!!!!
That banana suit makes me think "I've made a huge mistake..." not preordering this.
The insult part may have been the best thing. Am I the only person who laughed at the possible use of "Cry for your Argentina" or "Kiss everyone's momma"?
Also, the laser eyes were hilarious.
I'm totally naming my next dog "Bancho".
I was a terrible bully as a child. I can finally relive my childhood with revisionist significance! ..and a banana suit!
