Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
Kind of a light week this time around. To be honest with you, I was a little too busy playing Beatles songs to really spend a lot of time in Narnia. Not that I neglected my duties or anything... but yeah, I got a little lazy. I mean, I didn't even take advantage of the 50% off sale that Nook had that day. There wasn't really anything I needed, and when I realized that I'd only get half as many bonus points for the purchases, I didn't bother. Threw the bells at the town fund instead, since I figure I have to be close to getting that lighthouse. I wish it told you how much you'd contributed...
To start off with, Pete was waiting outside my door with a special delivery from Nintendo. "Can you believe it's been seven years since the debut of Animal Crossing?! We've created this special item to commemorate this special day! Enjoy!" And attached to that letter was a GameCube dresser. It's cute! It's just like the one I used to have. Well, sort of. Except mine wasn't a dresser, it actually played games. Oh, and it was silver, not purple. But whatever. It's still a neat present. I put it up in my super-gay Lovely Room because that's where I thought it would look best.
This week Felicity told me that she was thinking of starting over fresh in another town. She seemed kind of excited at the idea, so I told her to go ahead and do it if she wanted. I mean, I don't mind her she's kind of similar in personality to Pippy, who's my favorite, but obviously no one can replace Pippy in my heart. But you know, if you're going to suddenly decide to move out of town a couple weeks after you've moved in, you can't really get annoyed when I don't try to stop you from leaving. Why not stay a while and get to know people? Sigh.
All week I kept catching the same dang fish and bugs, making me think there was nothing new to catch in September aside from the salmon. Well, to my surprise I ended up catching a king salmon, too! It's pretty big! I bet it's good eatin' (or better still, worth a few bells), but I had to give it to the museum.
Told you it was a light week! Hopefully next week will be more interesting!

The king salmon are only worth like 1,800 bells or something. Huge disappointment.
And fun fact: that gamecube dresser was originally European DLC. We were all hoping that Nintendo of America would release something different, but they didn't. Ah well...at least new Japanese DLC is on the way.
I just started playing this again because of your articles, Wootini.
(Don't tell anybody but you're my favourite writer here.)
