Epic Mickey Screenshots, Art, Characters, And Levels

GameInformer recently posted a ton of content on the upcoming Epic Mickey game. Including a handful of 'final screen shots' and a video of Mickey's animation. And it looks great! Kind of? Okay personally I think the 3D renders look a little bit like a game from one of those game design college commercials you see on cable TV, but I'm going to assume that's because it's not 100% polished yet. I'm still excited!
They also included this bit of concept art (above) that was among several bits of art for a 'secret lab area', though he's not explicitly mentioned, you can clearly see not one but two Oswalds in it, one appearing to be some kind of clone. The lab area is also clearly Oswald's domain, if you look at the concept art there's a tower with Oswald's silhouette in a window, and on the above final screenshot you can see a design on the floor of Oswald's head wearing a crown.
The article also shows a creepy Anamatronic Donald Duck character and a new character that looks like a cross between a mech, a classic cartoon car, and Hades from Disney's Hercules. It also features concept art for a Gremlin Village area that looks inspired by the Small World ride, and art and screenshots from a short side scrolling level that's supposed to act as a shortcut between 3D areas.
What do you guys think? PERSONALLY my hype for the game is cooling off a bit, but I'm still in the "looking forward to purchasing it" area of anticipation.

I've been very impressed by the quality of coverage Game Informer has been putting out for this--luckily it's a game I want to learn about. :)
As for my anticipation--I'd say it's incredibly high and probably the game I'm most looking forward too in the next two years. I'm a *little* disappointed the characters are designed as computer models rather than cell-shaded, as I think these characters work best in a more hand-drawn look, but beyond that everything looks imaginative and fun. I can't wait!
And how is this different from KH?
I hope it's as good and better than KH, which would be really hard, especially KH 2
Honestly, I never really liked Kingdom Hearts. I got to the Peter Pan level and finally gave up on it. This seems to be a theme with me and RPGs where I only control one party member and terrible AI takes over for the others. Thankfully, this looks like an issue I won't have to deal with in Epic Mickey.
Other than the fact that this is Disney, I don't see many similarities to Kingdom Hearts. If I was going to compare it to something, Okami would come to mind first, though that might be inaccurate too since Epic Mickey seems to be more of a platformer than an adventure game. In any case, I can't wait, Epic Mickey looks amazing!
I really wanted a game that was at least somewhat stylistically related to the original concept art rather than something that looks like it could have been the next Mario or Jak and Daxter game, but I'm still hoping there'll be some levels in that style.
Can't wait for this game! ^-^
