Gallery: Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Movie
Posters for the new Prince of Persia movie starring hunk-o-matic Jake Gyllenhaal are already popping up in theaters around the country. Earlier this week, press was invited to check out a trailer of the upcoming film. Unfortunatley, due to a scheduling conflict, I was unable to attend personally, but as a consolation prize, I can share with you these shots of the dashing Jake, his co-stars Ben Kingsley and Gemma Arterton and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Seeing as Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner had a hand in the script, one can but hope the film will have a modicum of the original story still left in it. Much will be revealed when the trailer premiers to the public on November 4. Be sure to keep your eyes her on GayGamer that day as we'll be posting it as soon as it's available.

Gyllenhaal looks a bit... fat... to play the Prince. I'd still do him though.
Easy on the eyes, but I'm wholly expecting this movie to be a mountain of suck.
What is with that one sheet? I mean I guess it's stark and kind of interesting but it seems weird compared to the games which have gone for a quasi-old-timey/period appropriate vibe. Swords and costume aside I could see this working pretty well to advertise a futuristic sci-fi dystopia movie or something about contemporary crime thrillers.
That said, I want to see the trailer before writing this off.
