Rumorama: Queen To Get Their Own Rock Band?
Well, with the track list of LEGO Rock Band dropping yesterday, many people were quite happy to see a few Queen songs on there, hopefully as a precursor of things to come. In fact, Brian May, the former guitarist for Queen had this to say to the BBC about being in the game:
"It's the ultimate accolade, to be portayed in Lego," he said. "My dreams are all fulfilled now."
Apparently they are so thrilled about it that there are talks happening right now to try and make a standalone Queen Rock Band game, much like the Beatles version that came out last month. Considering how well Queen's Singstar songs do in Europe (and in the US too), I'm sure there is a lot of money to be made off in such a spin off. Brian May's himself said about the possible project, "Yes we're into it, I think it may happen," which is a good sign. No official word yet, but we'll make sure to break it to you first so that you know when need to start polishing up on your Fat Bottom Girls lyrics and guitar riffs.

Yes!!! I would frakin' buy a PS3 and/or an XBOX 360 just to play Queen Rockband.
Surely his "ultimate accolade" was getting a PhD in Astrophysics? Rather than being depicted in lego form....
I highly doubt they would get their own game. They already have a 12 song track pack coming out on the 20th which we know about. I could see them doing a stand alone track pack like they did with AC/DC, but I doubt you will get new character models or vocal system updates to the RB2 engine they will use.
