Sendak's Rumpus: WTWTA Game Site Live

Less than two weeks remain until Maurice Sendak's childhood classic Where the Wild Things Are hits theaters and game consoles, and the Spike Jonze-directed property is absolutely everywhere in film trailers, commercials, and newly re-minted picture books that will, depending on your level of jadedness, either spread the Sendakian love to a new generation or steal the soul of a beloved children's book and whore it out to every available medium and merchandiser.
But for those of you who are optimistically awaiting Jonze's squiggly-font-titled do-up of a favorite classic, the newly unveiled Where the Wild Things Are: The Videogame website may be a perfect visit during your Wild Things countdown: trailers, concept art, screens, wallpapers, character info and more awaits you at the digital rumpus. My only regret is that there's no creative Wild Things promotional contest: this seems like the perfect opportunity to stimulate the imaginations of the Sendak faithful and newcomers alike.
