Square Enix To Use Bon Jovi: Whaaaa?
Remember that decade when Bon Jovi was relevent? No? Ok, so maybe you were a toddler during the 1980s. That's fine, because frankly, that's a decade I kinda want to sweep under the rug. Sad to say, Bon Jovi is one of those little balls of mysterious fluffy lint that seems to pill up behind the bathroom door every couple hours. He just will not go away.
His latest escapade? He is now going to be doing the music for the japanese launch commercial for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. That's right, Square is pulling out the hair metal. Why they decided to go with good ole' BJ is beyond me, considering their seemingly endless cache of J-Pop artists.
The single "We weren't born to follow" is schduled to air later this month. There is no mention if the title itself will contain the tune. I'm hoping it is the ending tune, because nothing says "you win" like a rock ballad.
Bon Jovi Rockin' Out For... A Final Fantasy Commercial [Siliconera]

Awesome news. The diversity of untraditional FF style music in this title is just another to the long list of reasons why I'm so excited for the day my copy is spinning in my Wii. ^-^
You are speaking like Bon Jovi is a solo artist.
I read that as... We weren't born to follow Bon Jovi! Nope, neither was I!
