Video: Futuremark's Shattered Horizon
Futuremark's upcoming game, Shattered Horizon, released some looks into the game itself with a new trailer (above) and a few screenshots today. The trailer is quite stylishly done with no voice, explanation, and just in-game footage. Seems perfect for a game about jumping around in near-Earth space after a catastrophe occurred on the moon.
Called Raid on Moondust, it shows the zero gravity style movement the game is promising, along with loosely showing us the conflict between the International Space Agency (ISA), and the group they have been instructed to apprehend, the Moon Mining Cooperative (MMC). Join with up to thirty-one other people to fight in craters, fragments of the moon, and a space station.
Slated for a release by the end of the year, it boasts using DirectX 10 and will run on both Windows 7 and Vista.

Silence in space! Finally! Absolute vacuum silence. Now, if only they would put in some in-the-suit breathing and air cycling sounds (ala 2001) for the first person segments, it would be perfect.
I love the silent weapons.
