Video: Square Enix Love Music
Well, I'd never be one to say that Square Enix doesn't love their fans, despite how much of an uproar some fans make over changes to some of the company's franchises. Well, it looks like we got proof now that they do love us, or at least the ones that have easy access to the Japanese market.
Turns out that on November 25th, Square Enix will be releasing yet another music compilation of their classic game songs redone by various artists. The album will be called Love SQ, and you can see the Japanese trailer for it above. I have to admit that I love the red Fighter and Mage shown near the end as well as the jazz remix of the classic Final Fantasy theme. As for the track list of the disc itself, I did a little searching and found it:
- Final Fantasy -- Main Theme (PE'Z)
- Final Fantasy III -- Yuukyuu no Kaze (De De Mouse)
- Chrono Trigger -- Chrono Trigger & Toki no Kairo (Novoiski)
- Chrono Trigger -- Harukanaru Toki no Kanata e (livetune)
- Chrono Trigger -- Kaeru no Theme & Sentou Shori (Sexy-Synthesizer)
- Final Fantasy -- Chocobo no Theme (Good Luck Heiwa)
- Romancing Saga -- Medley (note native)
- Seiken Densetsu Legend of Mana -- Medley (muZik)
- Final Fantasy -- Battle Medley (Pia-no-jaC)
- Final Fantasy -- Prelude (no.9)
I know everyone expected there to be some Final Fantasy on there (which there is a ton), but I'm glad to see Chrono Trigger and Legend of Mana on there too. Looks like I might have to look into import channels again come Christmas time to get this.
