Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
We got our new resident, and as you can see from this photo, he wasted no time in shopping for the most scandalous outfit in the Able Sisters' boutique. Honestly, a topless eagle isn't really appropriate. Bad enough he already doesn't wear pants! And this was like, on his second day! Creepy. There were odder things that happened this week, though!
I was actually quite surprised to be wandering around down by the beach and literally walk into Apollo. Usually the newbie is still in their house unpacking, but I guess he really couldn't wait to get out there and start meeting new people. He's an aggressive one, that Apollo. I was also kind of thrilled to see that he's the one who moved in. I've loved the guy from way back. In the first town I ever lived in, he was the town's resident crankypants. Love him. I just have to make sure to treat him right so he doesn't leave in a week like all the others.
I actually caught a couple new bugs this week, purely by accident. I saw what looked like a darner dragonfly, so I initially thought to ignore it, but then thought it odd it was flying so high, and went after it anyway. Turns out it was actually a red dragonfly. Who knew? I thought the same might be true of the swarms of crickets all over the ground, but when I tried, they all turned out to be the same old crap. But then later, Alice saw that I had a right platform and begged me to trade it for her orchid mantis. Since I've never seen one of those to catch for myself, I happily made the exchange and donated the mantis to the museum post haste. Lucky break!
During the week we also had a lovely meteor shower that lit up the night sky. Pretty. Though ultimately useless. And kind of distracting. You know, when you're walking around and you keep hearing "Zing!" "Zing!" "Zing!" It's like the town is under attack or something...
Adrian sent me the white cap that goes with the red one as Japanese DLC, but I loved Danny's presents even more. He mailed me the dachshund model that completed my Nintendogs set of three puppies. LOVE!

Are the puppies no available in your catalogue now that you have them?
You're welcome Wootz. I managed to snag on the day they were released (You dont wanna know what I had to do to get them)
I cant decide which one is the cutest! Glad that nintendo came to it's senses and released something we can visually adorable.
Apollo is great! He and Roscoe totally have a thing going on in my town.
Hmmm I played every night this week but totally missed the meteor shower--maybe it wasn't visible from my town?
I love the Nintendogs models! I need to make new friends in Japan so I can get them :)
Great update as always. Oh, and the crankypants ARE always the best.
The nintendogs are european and there are four. JSYK. facts + straight = good :)
Wootini,
I'm sorry to say your collection is not yet complete :( You have one more Nintendog, The Dalmation. The good news is that its coming out in time for your next Diary update! :)so I hope your friend send it to you so it can make an appearance next week. :D
Can't wait to hear what Apallo thinks of your town! I'll be back next week to see
