Last Two Old Republic Classes Revealed

sith-vs-jedi.jpg

Well not to long after Bioware announced that Jedi Knights would be making their way into the ranks for the Republic's fighting arsenal in Star Wars: The Old Republic, news has arrived of what the last class for each side of the conflict will be. According to a German Magazine, the Sith Empire will be getting Sith Inquisitors and the Republic forces will be getting Jedi Consulars. While you may be saying to yourself "but we already got Jedi Knights and Sith Warriors", and you'd be right for doing so; however, the two new classes seem to have their Jedi and Sith skills more honed on range skills, whereas the warrior and knight are all about the close quarters combat.

Overall, it sounds like a smart move on Bioware's part to have two Jedi and two Sith classes, that way everyone that is crazy about being a Jedi or Sith will not be lumped into one class, making the player population lopsided. Plus, this allows for the developers to cram even more cool force powers into the classes since they focus on different aspects of how each class uses the force (range versus melee, Sith versus Jedi). Since this is all from magazine stories not yet published, there's still no official word on the last two classes on the Old Republic website yet. I'm just happy since now that all the classes are revealed, we're that much closer to the game actually being released, though it still will be some time.
